The Challenge: The "CSV Bottleneck" & Search Blindness

Before Seeed intervened, Samsonite LATAM faced a classic scaling paradox. To launch a new brand (e.g., Xtrem) in a new country (e.g., Peru), the team had to duplicate and manually configure a Shopify theme.


The Trigger:

Regional teams were manually uploading spreadsheets to 20+ Shopify instances. This led to fragmented product data, missing lifestyle assets, and inventory inaccuracies.

The Technical Barrier:

Shopify’s native search is restricted to its internal catalog. It could not "see" the complex metadata, lifestyle videos, or custom product options residing in external data layers. For a customer looking for a "Blue Hard-Shell Spinner with Laptop Compartment," the search results were often "Zero Found," despite the product being in stock.

The Solution: The Headless Data Triad

We bypassed the limitations of the monolith by architecting a three-tier data flow:



1. Centralized Intelligence (Jasper PIM)

We moved the "Brain" of the operation to Jasper PIM. Instead of just product specs, we aggregated:

  • Category & Collection Logic: Marketing teams now create entire collections, add lifestyle videos, and set SEO parameters in Jasper.

Dynamic Propagation: These updates flow through the API to create or update store pages dynamically without manual Shopify intervention.
