Real-Time Catalog Sync
DDI Advantix product catalog syncs to Medusa: item codes, descriptions, pricing tiers, UOM, and availability. Changes in DDI propagate to the Medusa storefront within minutes — no nightly batch, no manual exports.
Customer-Specific Pricing
DDI Advantix supports customer account pricing. The integration applies account-specific price lists when authenticated customers browse the Medusa storefront — so trade customers see their contracted prices, not the list price.
Order Pushback to DDI
When a customer places an order in the Medusa storefront (or at the Square POS), the order pushes to DDI Advantix as a fulfillment-ready sales order. The DDI order includes line items, shipping address, and the Medusa order reference for reconciliation.
Inventory Availability
Stock levels from DDI Advantix reflect on the Medusa storefront in near-real-time. Out-of-stock items hide from purchase; low-stock warnings display when inventory falls below threshold.
Square POS Integration
Province Electric uses Square POS for counter sales alongside the Medusa web storefront. The medusa-square-plugin keeps the Square catalog in sync with DDI and Medusa — one SKU change in DDI propagates to both Square POS and the web store.
