Just Reservations Adds Per-Table Deposit Control — And New Plans to Match
In 60 seconds: Just Reservations, Seeed's Square-native reservation platform for restaurants, now lets operators set a different deposit amount for every table or section — not one flat fee for the whole floor. Pricing moves to three self-serve plans: Lite ($25/month, 100 reservations), Pro ($75/month, 350 reservations, per-table deposits), and Scale ($150/month, unlimited reservations, per-table deposits, multi-location). Still $0 per cover.
A flat deposit for every table doesn't match how a restaurant actually books. A two-top on a Tuesday and a private dining room on Saturday carry different no-show risk — and until now, Just Reservations only let operators set one deposit for the entire restaurant. That changes today.
Why doesn't one deposit amount fit every table?
Restaurants that started requiring deposits to cut no-shows ran into the same problem: set the deposit high enough to protect a 10-top private booking, and it scares off a couple booking a regular two-top. Set it low enough for casual bookings, and a no-show on your best table on a Saturday still costs real revenue.
What did Just Reservations ship?
Per-table and per-section deposit control. Operators on Pro and Scale can now set deposit amounts individually — by table, or by section (patio, bar, private dining room) — instead of one number for the whole restaurant.
