How credible is your brand on social media? Are you trustworthy enough for users to make a purchasing decision from your networks?
It seems that we are in a race of apps and social media, where each one tries to be the "best sales space" and it is logical since every day new online shoppers appear in the scene.
I would say that more than 80% of the platforms already have their space focused on "market" and sales, and each time more different tools start to serve not only to communicate with your contacts but for brands to reach millions of users and through these sales are generated.
In addition, your brand has an infinite opportunity to reach more different and selected audiences with the use of social networks.
You probably already have an idea of what you want to promote and sell through the different social channels, but you may be looking for ideas on how to get it going.
On Facebook, for example, not only ads and stories are a way to bring the product to the consumer's feed, but the marketplace allows you to sell as in a store, as well as create your business page.
Are you already promoting your brand on Facebook, but you don't see the results you want? Remember to always review everything as if you were the buyer yourself.
- Are your products or services easy to buy on your Facebook page?
- Are all your virtual stores linked? For example, if you use Shopify as your website's e-commerce solution, is it synced to your Facebook store?
- Do you have a customer service plan?
- Is it easy for the customer to contact your brand?
This is just the beginning and the basis that you should review when selling on Facebook, then you should review a lot the emotional marketing issues and the importance of dealing with the client to stand out.
Then we have Instagram, which has become another extremely powerful sales channel since I implemented one-click purchases from any photo and which is about to launch Instagram shopping from IGTV (we will tell you more in another post).
The most recent statistics from Instagram point to the fact that the platform is growing booming for brands at the moment. And that younger consumers rely more on this network to discover, research and comment on new products.
But selling on IG is much more than just putting a nice photo and taking it as a day of work, it requires a lot of effort and knowledge, and there is definitely no single approach to selling your product on Instagram.
Remember that Linkedin is a very robust platform to generate not only professional knowledge about your business, yourself and your team, but it is also a space for B2B business, and it’s handled very differently from the previous ones, although they are including more similar tools that seem similar in function, these will be handled and focused on different ways.
And finally, we’ve Twitter, which is definitely another story very different from the previous ones, but handled in an exact way that can bring a lot of traffic to your website, eCommerce store, or to other of your networks.
When you start with something as simple as a Tweet, how can you use it to send as many people to your website as possible?
- A great way to drive more traffic to your website is to make it easier for people to access it. Twitter provides a designated area to add your site's URL.
- You can pin any Tweet you want and it will always appear at the top of your page, but we recommend that you update it as often as possible with those that generate high conversion pages.
All these keys that we give you for the different networks will be very useful when it comes to advertising your product or service, and these will cost you little or nothing depending on how you handle it and for what purpose.
We hope that our tips are useful to you, we know that so much information can be overwhelming, the idea is that you know what tools can help you grow and that we are experts in the development of them.
